Artscape Wychwood Barns

Decommissioned TTC maintenance barns were transformed into a community hub by Artscape. My role was to assist developing visual identity for the facility. Through research in the facility’s history and remnants, the visual identity was developed to re-connect with the building’s past. The wordmark and symbol were inspired by original architectural blueprint of the five barns and old streetcar signs that were kept in the preparing facility. The environmental design application also reflect a sense of TTC’s history and community.
