UTSC Commons

University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) wanted to reach its alumni better and connect with academic and business community. A magazine aims to do so by featuring achievements by UTSC alumni and current innovative campus activities. A simple and flexible editorial layout system was designed to accommodate a variety of stories easy to be consumed by readers. I delivered design exercise and execution for the inception of the first issue. As a primary designer for the publication, I continued setting art direction for the cover and editorial stories with photography and illustrations commissioned and executed layout design for the entire issue.
